AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
This is the public-facing, educational arm of the foundation’s mission.
- What it involves: Strategic efforts to educate the public and influence policy.
- Prevention & Early Detection: Campaigns promoting screening (mammograms, colonoscopies, skin checks) and healthy lifestyle choices (smoking cessation, sun safety).
- Disease-Specific Awareness: Highlighting lesser-known cancers (e.g., pancreatic, ovarian) and their often-vague symptoms.
- Fundraising & Advocacy Campaigns: Large-scale events (e.g., Breast Cancer Symposium ) or social media movements (#WorldCancerDay) to raise funds and public consciousness.
- Destigmatization: Changing public narratives around cancer, moving it from a “taboo” topic to one of open support and understanding.
- The Goal: To save lives through early detection, secure funding for research and services, and shape a more informed and supportive society.
