    • Organise, supervise and monitor the clinical services of the hospital. This includes ensuring adequacy of resources for providing quality care (staffing, equipment, infrastructure, drugs and supplies), deployment of available resources including staff, clinical audit, staff meetings
    • Implement, monitor and ensure adherence to hospital and Ministry of Health standards, policies and procedures
    • Organize and promote continuing medical education for staff
    • Member of the Board of the Southern Regional Health Authority – act as a liaison between the Regional Health Authority and the Hospital.

  • Consultant Anaesthetist and Head, Anaesthetics Department
    • Planned, organized, implemented and supervised the development and expansion of the Anaesthetics Department into a large, well staffed, well equipped and efficient department commensurate with the needs of the hospital.
    • Established and managed a three-bed High Dependency Unit for the care of critically ill patients within the hospital
    • Organised and supervise activities of the Anaesthetics Department on a daily basis, including provision of anaesthesia care, staff deployment, inventory management, budget and report writing.
